How To Prepare For Your Cleaning Service
Please be prepared for us before we arrive at your home. We can do a more thorough job if the house is prepared before we get there.
- Please be sure we can enter your home, either by providing us with a key, or a code or by leaving a door unlocked. If we arrive for a scheduled service and are unable to access your home a $50 lock-out fee needs to be paid on the day the lockout occurs.
- If you have children, plants, or pets our cleaning staff appreciate that they are safe and secured and that you also pick up after them before our arrival.
- Items such as toys, clothes, etc., on the floor that interfere with the contracted cleaning must be collected by the client to guarantee a complete cleaning or otherwise, with the authorization of the client, an extra service will be charged.
- Your pets are members of your family and we respect that. However, if your pet is afraid of vacuums, territorial, or overly friendly and will not allow us to do our work, we may suggest that they be placed in areas where we are not working. Due to the individual care that plants require, we are not able to water or maintain them.
- YAD Cleaning Services LLC does not clean animal cages, litter boxes, animal droppings, human or pet feces, urine, vomit, soiled clothing, or similar biohazards. We will clean around boxes, etc. but cannot by OSHA standards clean up actual bodily fluids.
- YAD Cleaning Services LLC will provide all equipment and supplies except trash bags to commercial customers unless the customer prefers to provide supplies so please leave them in a visible location with instructions so our technicians can use them.
- If would you like us to clean behind heavy objects, please move them so our technician can provide you with better service, per policy to protect ourselves and our technicians from injury, YAD Cleaning Service does not use ladders higher than a 2-step ladder, higher items will only be dusted w/ an extension duster. We will try to reach any visible places either by hand or with an extension duster.
- YAD Cleaning Services LLC does not use bleach. If the customer requests the use of bleach, YAD Cleaning Services LLC is not responsible for any damage it may cause.
- Because we cannot guarantee the results of mini-blind cleaning, please allow for some dust resettlement after we leave. We try to limit the dust in the air but cannot prevent this entirely.
- Please make sure your property has water and electricity before we arrive to provide the cleaning service, otherwise a charge of 50% of the full cost will apply.
- If anyone on the property is sick with a contagious illness (flu, cold, pneumonia, chicken pox, lice, etc.) please reschedule your cleaning. We want to limit the possibility of transferring illnesses from one home to another. To be fair to all the customers and staff, please wait until you are well again. We will also not send a sick employee to your property for the same reasons.
